Our very talented clothing designer Joris Hendrik contacted me again for what would be one of our very best photo shoots ever, an editorial session ”The Enchanted Valley”; I was supposed to shoot his newest creative collection and we were both to work with a professional and wonderful model from our neighboring country Guatemala. The location was a quarry right off the George Price Hwy and..yes! Right beside the garbage dump!
Sophistication, elegance, classiness and a sense of power is what Joris’s clothing make every woman feel. His target is not cute and girly, he has his eyes and goals set way above and he only keeps getting better. Be sure to follow his Facebook Page for his latest collections and other work or simply to order one of those gorgeous pieces he designs.
Cyntia Contreras, a model with seven years of experience in professional modeling was not only beautiful in face and body but easy to work with and our photo shoot was a blast. She came in specially to model for this session.

Blue Tarpaulin dress: This is his second tarpaulin dress, the first one was specially made to showcase Prince Harry on his visit to Xunantunich Mayan Ruin. This one was splashed with white paint to add the effect you see on the photo.
This white dress was made of natural cotton fabric and it has a ruffled top and an open back. I shot this among the grass field at the same location. It made me think of a fairytale princess; to add to the fairy-ness i picked out a few tiny white flowers and used it as a head piece.
This elegant outfit is a white jacket made out of cotton fabric and ruffled to resemble faux fur. The bottom is a red chiffon pleated skirt. I chose to shoot this somewhere at the edge of a cliff to symbolize its appearance of superiority.
This dress was also worn by one of the delegates (Idolly Saldivar) at the pageant for Miss Earth in Belize. This beautiful white gown’s top was made out of sheer organza embellished with safety pins!
And lastly I shot this real nice to wear cotton dress. Accessorized with a belt.
